Creative Compass Society in partnership with the Fort Langley Community Improvement Society presents The Myles of Smiles Monthly Music Showcase. The Music Series on the fourth Friday night each month at the Fort Langley Community Hall – 9167 Glover Road runs monthly. Stay tuned for announcement of upcoming music events. Creative Compass Society would like to thank the Fort Langley Community Improvement Society for their support of the monthly music series.
The Fall Series opened with a Special Fundraising Performance by Tiller’s Folly on September 23rd. All door proceeds went towards the making of a multi-media documentary presentation “A Simply Extraordinary Life – The Story of Sam Robertson” in support of arts, culture and heritage in our community. The collaborative project by BC Farm Museum and songwriter Bruce Coughlan includes original music, media arts, historical research and not only highlights our local history, but supports Canadian artists in the creation and presentation of original Canadian music.
In October, Byrd Dawg took to the Fort Langley Community Hall stage with their tribute to the iconic legends, The Everly Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel. The crowd enjoyed a SOLD OUT performance and danced the night away. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event.
The final fall performance on Friday, November 25th had the community dancing the night away with Jennifer Diamond & the Roughcuts for a Classic Rock Night. Opening tribute Neil Young by Roger Potter at 7:30pm. Jennifer Diamond & the Roughcuts took the stage at 8:15pm.

Past Spring Series began with an intimate evening on March 25th featuring five local songwriters, Tom Hammel, Jessica Mai, Ranj Singh, Brock Phillips and Sue Breton, followed by evening dancing the night away on May 27th with opener Garth & a Guy and rockabilly band, The Palomars.
